Become a BEP Operator
Are you or somebody you know interested in becoming an operator in the
Wisconsin Business Enterprise Program (BEP)?
Then the Wisconsin BEP wants you!
We are always looking for qualified operators to manage BEP locations.
All BEP operators share a commitment to quality and if you complete the
training program, and become a licensed operator, we are committed to
finding you work.
We provide exciting management opportunities in the food service
industry for persons who are legally blind. Federal and state laws
grant a priority to BEP operators at food service establishments in
government buildings. Facilities are also established in private
sector locations.
BEP facilities range in type from full service food prep facilities to
automated vending machine locations and everything in between. BEP
sets the operator up in business by providing the necessary equipment and
initial merchandise. From that point forward, the income is the
profit generated from sales. BEP provides ongoing support by
repairing consultation. BEP staff also monitor the operations to
ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The initial eligibility requirements are simple: You must be
legally blind, a United States citizen, and at least 18 years old to
qualify for entry into the training program. Read the
current brochure
(opens in new window).
To find out more, simply call BEP Manager, Kent Walser at 608-268-2710

There is no commitment or obligation when your business contacts us, and
we are happy to have the opportunity to provide you with information about
our quality services.
